Sterile, Conical 50ml Centrifuge tubes are ideal for every day lab work. Made of premium polypropylene for chemical resistance, clarity and centrifugal strength, they are supplied sterile. Although the tubes are autoclavable, the polyethylene screw caps are not. Tubes and caps may be frozen at temperatures as low as -45oC, and the maximum centrifugal force for these 50ml tubes is 9,000 x g. The caps have a flat top surface for easy marking and labeling.
Item 21-395 features a "skirted" bottom that allows the tube to stand upright without a separate test tube rack.
