Apex mass ladders are an excellent value. Most commercial DNA standards contain residual plasmid which contributes up to 45% of their quantity. However, Apex purified molecular weight markers do not contain any residual plasmid. So, the ug listed is 100% marker without extraneous DNA. Now you can use as little as half as much of Apex DNA Ladder and retain superb band intensities.
