Semi-Dry electroblotting uses only a fraction of the buffer as a tank blotter and takes about 1/2 - 1/3 the time. Electroblotters from Genesee Scientific features the same robust acrylic construction as our electrophoresis equipment. These semi-dry blotters have foolproof safety lid designs and are slightly oversized to ensure 100% transfer of the gel.
The 20 x 20cm Semi-Dry Electroblotter can be used to transfer gels up to 20 x 20cm in size; or transfer four 10 x 10cm at once, side by side. The unit utilizes highly effective stainless steel/platinized titanium electrodes.
