The UVP iBox Scientia systems are easy to use optical imaging systems for noninvasive detection of fluorescent markers in small animals. They are equipped with high resolution, deeply cooled CCD cameras and highly sensitive optics. The high resolution and low light sensitivity of the camera allows for faint target detection. The UVP iBox Scientia comes with epi white, 365nm UV and 480nm blue light illumination built into the darkroom. The darkroom also comes with a five position filter wheel with included GFP and RFP emission, excitation filters and a motorized platform with a 10-inch range.
The included VisionWorks Software tools provide users with the freedom to apply image enhancement and analysis features when needed. They create uncompromised raw data and preserve this true data, promising the highest quantitative value.
