Designed for simultaneous heating and mixing of samll samples, the VorTemp 56 is supplied with interchangeable platforms for microtubes (56 x 1.5ml tubes) or microplates (4 standard or 2 deep well plates). Heat and shaking are controlled independently allowing the VorTemps to be used as a static incubator or a room temperature shaker. A microprocessor controls all parameters and self-diagnostic software continuously monitors the unit for proper temperature and shaking speed, alerting the user to any errors.
