Genesee's polypropylene Drosophila vials are precision moulded from pure virgin medical grade polypropylene plastic. Polypropylene vials are fully autoclavable and flexible, while maintaining enough clarity to see inside the vial. These shell vials have a straight walled design with a flat bottom to allow for easy plugging and racking. The flat bottom design keeps food from dislodging while flipping flies and allows the vial to stand upright on it's own.
These vials are narrow and come bulk packaged with 500 vials per case organized so that all open ends are facing in the same direction so they are easy to transfer to vial racks.
