Genesee's Drosophila culture vials are precision moulded from pure high-quality polystyrene plastic. The straight-walled design allows for easy plugging and food filling and the flat bottom minimizes food dislodging while flipping flies. These wide fly vials are packed in a bulk configuration with 500 vials per case organized so that open ends are facing the same direction so they are easily transferred into the vial trays.
Polystyrene Drosophila vials offer glass-like clarity for excellent visibility. These shell vials are a safe and cost-saving alternative to glass vials. Polystyrene vials are not autoclavable.
